Forward Deployed Engineer
Location: Remote / Sofia, Bulgaria · travel to customer sites across EMEA · Full-time
About the Role
A Forward Deployed Engineer works inside the customer's environment, not next to it. You take an engagement from the first architecture call to the day the customer's own team runs the system: deploying AI Central agents, AiMon monitoring and the cloud platform beneath them, wiring them into real databases, ticketing and chat tools, and staying accountable until the outcome is measurable. Half engineer, half translator between what the customer actually needs and what our products do.
Responsibilities
- Embed with customer engineering and IT teams — on-site or remote — and own the rollout end to end
- Deploy and configure Graf Clouds products (AI Central, AiMon, CodeSec, Graf SIEM) in customer environments and connect them to live systems: cloud accounts, databases, ERP, ticketing, Slack, Teams
- Build the integration and automation glue where the product stops and the customer's world begins — Python, Bash, Terraform, REST APIs, webhooks
- Run workshops, write runbooks and hand over to the customer's team so they can operate without us
- Be the technical point of contact during rollout and triage incidents together with our 24/7 operations
- Bring field learnings back to product engineering: bugs, missing features, patterns worth productizing
Requirements
- 4+ years in cloud, DevOps, SRE or solutions engineering with hands-on production responsibility
- Strong with at least one major cloud (AWS preferred; Azure or Google Cloud welcome), Linux, Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
- Python scripting and comfort with REST APIs, webhooks and SQL
- Experience putting LLM-based tools or agents into real workflows (prompting, tool calling, RAG) is a strong plus
- Excellent written and spoken English; Turkish or German is a plus; willingness to travel within EMEA
- A customer-facing temperament: calm in incidents, clear in writing, honest about trade-offs
