AIMON Console — Support
AIMON Console puts the AINFRA monitoring platform in your pocket. It shows the same incidents, the same estate and the same cost figures as the web console at admin.sanalmakina.com, and it tells you when something breaks instead of waiting for you to look. It is a client, not a second system: everything it displays is read from your own AINFRA account.
1.What you need
- An iPhone running a recent version of iOS.
- An AINFRA account, created for you by an administrator.
There is no sign-up in the app and no trial mode. If you do not have an account, the app cannot create one — ask whoever administers AINFRA for your organisation.
2.Signing in
Enter the same username and password you use for the web console. The session is kept in the iOS Keychain, so you stay signed in between launches; the app renews an expired session by itself rather than throwing you back to the login screen.
Forgotten your password? Tap Forgot Password and enter your username. A reset link is emailed to the address on the account. For security the app gives the same answer whether or not the username exists, so no reply does not mean the app failed.
3.The console screen
The first screen is a summary rather than a list: a health figure derived from assets that actually have a check result, counts by severity, the newest open incidents, and a honeycomb heat map of the estate. Assets that have never been checked are counted as unknown, not as down — a distinction that matters when you are deciding whether to get out of bed.
4.Incidents
- Filter by severity and by how far back you want to look.
- Open one to see the failing check, the raw error text, and the AI analysis if the platform produced one.
- Recurring incidents are marked with how many times they have come back, which is usually the difference between a fault and a flapping check.
5.Infrastructure, inventory and cost
- Heat map — one cell per host, coloured by status, CPU, memory or disk. Tap a cell for that host: its disks, its operating system, listening ports, installed packages and containers.
- Inventory — every asset AINFRA knows about, searchable, grouped by the organisation it belongs to.
- Cost — the current spend total and the split by vendor.
- More — organisations, agents, users and system information.
6.Notifications
Allow notifications when the app asks and new incidents reach you as push alerts. You are notified about the organisations your account can see; administrators also receive incidents that belong to no single organisation. Security events such as an AWS root or administrator sign-in arrive as time-sensitive alerts, which are allowed through Focus modes.
To stop them, turn notifications off for AIMON Console in iOS Settings, or sign out — signing out removes this device's token from the server.
7.When something looks wrong
- A banner says the data is stale. The refresh failed, so the app is deliberately still showing the last good reading rather than an empty screen. Pull to refresh once the connection is back.
- A screen is empty. Your account may not have been granted any organisation yet. That is fixed by an administrator, not in the app.
- A host shows no in-guest measurement. The monitoring agent is not installed or not reachable on that machine, so only the cloud-provider view exists.
- No notifications arrive. Check that iOS notifications are enabled for the app, and that you are signed in; a signed-out device is deregistered on purpose.
8.Privacy
What the app sends and how long it is kept is set out in the AIMON Console privacy policy.
